Tommy Bowden getting testy with media, and it's actually reported!

It's funny, I did not see much of the local media report that Tommy is feeling the heat of some questionable play by his team. But the media in Michigan reported that Tommy is getting testy (see below.)

The Associated Press did run a story by (local reporter) Pete Iacobelli pounced on and more or less down-graded South Carolina as a team with lots of problems, even though it had a 3-0 record. http://www.wsjs.com/topic/ap_news.php?story=AP/APTV/National/s/s/FBC--T25-SCState-SCar

It is rare for Tommy to be questioned and even more rare for a news service to make a big deal of it. Of course it was the Detroit Free Press that pointed out Tommy's irritability. And if Clemson slips this could blow up in a big way with Tommy.

Guess all those Peach Bowl appearances have gone to Clemson coach Tommy Bowden's head.
After winning 38-10 over Furman, Bowden was questioned by media about different aspects of the game that the Tigers were outplayed in.
Furman recovered two onside kicks, passed for more yards (384-377), held the Tigers to just 60 yards rushing and recorded five sacks.Bowden was a little perturbed at the questioning of a 28-point win and spun it back at the Wolverines."We won. That’s not something Lloyd Carr can say," Bowden said to reporters after the game. So, for the record, we have reached week three of the 2007 college football season, and people still remember the Appalachian State win. Who would have thunk it?
